Embracing our Mission
Last week (July 5th) our incredible Serving People In Need (SPIN) team took a moment to recharge and bond through a special team-building activity that captured the heart of our mission.
Since 1987, SPIN has been a quiet force for good, helping countless families and individuals find their way out of crisis and into stable, independent lives. From securing housing to meeting basic needs, our team is dedicated to paving the path towards self-sufficiency.
Our gathering took place at the Hellada gallery in downtown Long Beach, where we had the pleasure of working with Ylenia Mino from Paint for a Purpose. Together, we created a meaningful portrait symbolizing the care and support we offer to our clients every single day.
With each team member contributing to painting separate sections of the portrait, we saw firsthand how our diverse talents and passions unite to achieve our common goal. This collaborative effort reflects the reunification work we do to restore fractured families and rebuild lives.
A heartfelt thank you to Ylenia and the Hellada gallery for hosting us, and to our SPIN team for their unwavering commitment and enthusiasm. Together, we are steadfast in our mission to end homelessness in our community, working tirelessly until every person has a place to call home.
