Since 1969, PBS’ “Sesame Street” has been teaching children their ABCs and 1-2- 3s through their educational and cultural programming. But just last week, the show tackled a deeper subject that no child should have to understand. Homelessness.

A recent article in The Daily Pilot by B.W. Cook highlights SPIN’s work in Orange County, calling attention to SPIN’s success in placing 517 Orange County adults and children in our housing program last year.

This grant will assist homeless and low-income single women and their children with housing.

Last year, SPIN joined forces with the Melinda Hoag Smith Center for Healthy Living to help provide housing and other vital services to families in need in Orange County. The center recently featured SPIN in their Heart of Hoag newsletter. Read the article here.
